RJM Names Combustion & Environmental Group VP Former DB Riley CEO Tapped for Key Leadership Role Norwalk, CT (May 4, 2001) - Richard J. Monro, President and CEO of RJM Corporation, a leading provider of innovative energy solutions, has appointed John J. Halloran to the position of Vice President and General Manager of the company's Combustion & Environmental Group. In making the announcement, Monro said, "John brings an unparalled level of effective corporate leadership and more than 30 years experience in all phases of the energy field to RJM. We are pleased to have such an accomplished, respected and talented executive lead and manage a rapidly expanding key division of our company." Upon accepting the position, Halloran said, "It is exciting to be associated with a true market leader that continues to make enormous strides in the creation, production and implementation of innovative energy technologies. I look forward to meeting the many opportunities that RJM offers." Halloran was president and CEO of DB Riley Consolidated, Inc. (1996-2001), where he increased new business growth more than 300 percent over the period and effected significant increases in revenue and profits. In 1994 Halloran became vice president and general manager of the Environmental Elements Corporation, and before that he was vice president and general manager of the Power Services Division for Riley Consolidated while also holding the positions of president of Deutsche Babcock-Riley Canada and Pace Power Constructors. Halloran began his career at Combustion Engineering (ABB), where he held numerous positions over his 22- year tenure there. Halloran earned an MBA from Western New England College and a BS in Marine Engineering from S.U.N.Y. Maritime College. He is a registered professional engineer, a licensed marine engineer through the U.S. Coast Guard and has five U.S. patents for various coal-processing equipment features. He has played a key role in the new product development initiatives at each of his previous employers. Halloran is currently a member of the board of directors of the American Boiler Manufacturers Association and chairman of its Solid Fuel Power Generation Group.
