RJM Secures Global Presence with European Expansion

Former John Zink Executive Tapped for Key Leadership Role

Norwalk, CT (May 29, 2001) – RJM Corporation, a leading provider of innovative emission control technologies, today announced the official opening of its International Division office located in Winchester, England. The office, which will be known as RJM Corporation (EC) Limited, will offer some of the industry’s most effective NOx emission control technologies available today from fossil fuel fired boilers to the European and Asia-Pacific markets.

“Opening our International Division office is a critical step in RJM’s efforts to expand and strengthen our presence internationally,” stated Richard J. Monro, President and Chief Executive Officer of RJM. “The addition of this Division will create important synergies for our U.S. and multinational customers by broadening the range of our highly cost effective NOx emission control technologies. In addition, it will assist us in making our operations more efficient by providing better service to our growing number of international customers.”

“We are pleased to have attracted the best talent to lead our international operations,” Monro stated. “We have appointed John Goldring, a well-known expert in NOx emissions control and combustion technologies, to the position of Managing Director of International Operations. We expect this new Division will be a strong contributor to our international growth in the years ahead. In fact, the operation has already recorded its first major order to reduce NOx emissions on the largest coal fired power plant in Europe.”

Mr. Goldring’s prior experience as Managing Director at TODD Combustion U.K. (a division of John Zink Co. Ltd.) provided leadership in sales, application engineering, strategic planning and new market development. He assumed a vital role in achieving higher market penetration for low NOx oil/gas main load steam generation applications in various European and International markets. Mr. Goldring began his career at Davy McKee PLC (now Kvaerner) and has 13 years experience in various combustion modification and emission control technologies for fossilfuelled boilers and industrial plants. He has an Honors degree in Chemical Engineering.

“Offering RJM’s technology and services in the International market sector is a very exciting prospect,” said John Goldring. “We have already had a favourable response from a number of multi- national utilities who have been impressed with the unique RJM approach. For me, the real proof of a successful organization is the market response and RJM’s growth in the US of 300% in three years shows the strength of the company, its people and products. We look forward to building on our first major order and providing innovative cost-effective technology for NOx reduction and efficiency improvement to our customers.”

About RJM Corporation:

Since the company's inception in 1977, the RJM name has become synonymous with the "new thinking" behind innovative energy technologies. RJM's engineers lead the field, offering some of the most effective technologies available today for reducing NOx emissions from fossil fuel fired boilers.

RJM Corporation's initial focus on combustion and emissions control engineering for utility and industrial boilers created a reputation for introducing breakthrough technologies. RJM was: first with burner add-ons for NOx emission control, first with practical low NOx fuel oil atomizers for tangential- fired utility and industrial boilers, first with front-end NOx tempering systems and first with second-generation NOx emission control technology. With its new NOx reduction ARISTM Technology for diesel and natural gas engines, RJM's spectrum of innovative energy technologies continues to lead the way.

In the near future RJM will announce three new products and systems that are expected to have major performance and economic benefits for utility and industrial providers. Additional information can be found at www.rjm.com.
