Products - Gas - Emissions - Low NOx Flame Stabilizers
RJM's patented circumferentially- and radially-staged Flame Stabilizers can achieve dramatic NOx reduction in gas fired burners. Used together with fuel staging units, NOx is typically reduced by more than 50%.

This breakthrough, vane-cascade technology is a proven and economical method for achieving mandated NOx reductions and it's up to 66% less expensive than replacing the burner.

Benefits:

  • Reduces NOx levels typically by 50% — at one-third the cost of replacement burners.
  • Converts your burners into multi-zone, air- and fuel-staged low NOx burners.
  • Lowers excess air levels, and maintains the lowest possible emissions (at both maximum and minimum loads).
  • Extends burner life and reduces costs by preventing recirculation of hot gases and combustion by-products onto the burner components.
  • Eliminates thermal deterioration concerns.

How they work:
Radial- and circumferential-staged flame stabilizers, in conjunction with fuel staging, create fuel-rich and fuel-lean zones. The fuel-rich, substoichiometric reducing zones prevent NOx formation and decompose any NOx that enters into the zone. Since this second generation NOx control design permits fuel/air ratios to be staged below flammability limits, innovative, fuel lean, fast ignition zones are designed into flame front to ensure flame stability and reliability.

Installation:
Slip-fit, bolt-on hubs enable installation in a matter of minutes.
