These add-ons for center-fired gun, ring, spud, and poker-type gas fuel burners can be installed as direct replacement or weld-on adapters. Each gas injector uses a screw-on, adjustable poker tip fabricated from high-nickel and high-chromium temperature-resistant alloy steels to assure long life.

These adjustable tips can be oriented to change the flame shape for steam temperature control and to meet furnace geometry requirements without flame impingement or boiler tube overheating.

How they work:
Gas injectors are custom-designed for each gas fuel application. Injector porting, fuel momentum and flow angle are matched to your specific furnace. These add-ons use a constant re-ignition, multiport injection design to assure flame stability. If one or more flame fronts from individual jets lose ignition, the other burning jets immediately re-ignite the flamed out jets.

Designs are fuel-specific for natural gas, acetylene, blast furnace, coke oven, landfill, Mapp, producer gas and SNG gas. We've even designed gas injectors for very low BTU geothermal waste gas.
