Products - Coal - Diagnostic & Performance - Combustion Airflow Balancing
With any airflow balancing concern, diagnosis is key. RJM's proprietary Airflow Balancing ADA (Air Distribution Analysis) is the fastest, most accurate, repeatable, and cost-effective tool available today for analyzing and diagnosing burner airflow.

Benefits:

  • Highly accurate results within hours.
  • Measured airflow at critical fuel-air mixing interface in each burner.
  • Minimizes CO emissions.
  • Determines precisely where windbox or ducting airflow distribution problems originate.
  • Reduces NOx emissions.

How it works:
RJM's Airflow Balancing technology uses actual data taken from your burners, rather than information inferred from downstream data or drawn from simulated conditions. It makes use of massive data sets from over 2,400 readings per burner with data collected inside burner throats at the critical fuel/air interface.

Unique test data:
More than any other technique available, RJM's Airflow Balancing technology provides extremely accurate pictures of your gas fired burners' performance. This includes high, low and average velocities at each test point; the average velocity for all burners; the peak velocity for each burner; deviation of airflow from the average for each burner; and flagging of vortex eddies and blocked airflow that contribute to reduced airflow conditions.

Test results are shown in numeric and three-dimensional graphic formats that help define the extent of perimeter loading problems and other airflow imbalance issues.

Test results also show windbox distribution patterns, which can locate the origin of distribution concerns.
